About

Seraphina Sol is a Canadian-born artist and director whose practice bridges the disciplines of visual art, environmental design, and material research.

With a background in art history, architectural theory and botanical studies, she explores the quiet relationships between the organic world and the built environment. Her practice is defined by a deep attentiveness to materiality—earth, stone, plant life—and the way these elements shape and are shaped by time.

Based in Toronto, Seraphina works across fine art, commercial illustration, and site-specific projects. Whether creating hand-rendered compositions for global brands or building layered, paintings for exhibitions, she maintains a consistent focus on materiality, ecology, and form. Her pieces are grounded in natural materials—botanical inks, hand-mixed pigments, seed-infused papers—and shaped by a slow, tactile process that mirrors the rhythms of the natural world.

Influenced by botanical archives, natural history collections, and urban ecologies, Seraphina Sol’s work invites a contemplative engagement with the natural world—where texture, presence, and story are central to the experience.

Her works have been exhibited internationally, and held in private collections across North America and Europe. She collaborates with architects, designers, and cultural institutions, while working with clients in publishing, fashion, and wellness. She has received numerous honors in recognition of her artistic achievements and community engagement.
